Where did towns develop and how they were constructed?

Towns have developed drastically. In the Middle Ages, the towns grew substantially. Agriculture played a big part in the development of towns. There were many agriculture advances in the Middle Ages. Towns would usually develop near areas where people could easily meet. Towns developed around castle walls & manor houses. As well, many towns grew within the walls of a castle. The power that was relied on to construct towns was generated by workers walking on treadmills. To build a new building, stone was most commonly used. When a town got too large for its walls, the walls were taken down and the stone that was used in the wall was used to construct a new building.
